We extend a warm invitation to the 11th International Cool Climate Wine Symposium (ICCWS) in the picturesque city of Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our symposium will provide the opportunity to taste and learn about cool climate regions, both within New Zealand and around the world. The thought-provoking programme will be complemented by fresh perspectives, research and technology.
Our theme is ‘Pure Innovation - Sustainable Development in Wine’. The ICCWS will unravel the intricacies of fostering innovation while ensuring the sustainable growth of the wine industry.
Hosted by the New Zealand Society for Viticulture and Oenology (NZSVO), with a proud history of having previously hosted the symposium in 1988 and 2006, we are thrilled to showcase the evolution of our industry over the past two decades. This symposium serves as our commitment to pushing boundaries, fostering collaboration, and elevating the standards of cool climate winemaking.
Anticipate an enriching symposium that blends our indigenous Māori culture, the charm of tradition with the excitement of innovation, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ōtautahi Christchurch.
